New concrete driveway and green shop building poured by Gitter Done Construction in Eastern Washington

Concrete & Foundations

Concrete & Foundations Built to Last Out Here

Foundations, flatwork, driveways, decorative concrete, and commercial slabs — poured right for Eastern Washington's climate.

Concrete is only as good as what's underneath it and how it's installed. Gitter Done Construction has been pouring foundations and flatwork across Lincoln County and the greater Spokane area since 2009 — and we take the sub-base, the rebar, and the mix seriously every time, because out here, shortcuts show up fast when the ground freezes and thaws.

Whether you need a foundation for a new home, a fresh driveway, a stamped patio, or a commercial slab, you get the same attention from us: proper excavation and compaction, correctly placed steel, and concrete that's mixed and cured for our climate. We don't cut corners on the stuff you can't see, because that's exactly what determines whether the work holds up ten years from now.

What we pour

  • Foundations & footings — for new homes, additions, garages & outbuildings
  • Driveways & flatwork — residential and commercial, broom finish or smooth
  • Sidewalks & patios — clean, functional flatwork that handles foot traffic
  • Decorative & stamped concrete — patterns, colors & textures for patios & entries
  • Retaining walls & site prep — grading, drainage & structural walls as needed
  • Commercial slabs & approaches — warehouse floors, parking approaches & pads

For homeowners

A new foundation, a driveway replacement, or a stamped patio can change how a property looks and functions for decades. We help you understand the options — mix designs, finishes, reinforcement — in plain language so you make decisions you're confident in. Everything gets scoped in writing, and we walk you through any site conditions that might affect the work before we start pouring.

Foundations for additions and detached garages are sized for the load and the lot, and we coordinate with any other trades on your project to keep the schedule moving.

For businesses

Commercial concrete — warehouse floors, loading approaches, parking lots, and exterior hardscape — needs to handle equipment loads and heavy use without cracking or heaving. We design thickness, joint layout, and reinforcement for the actual loads your site will see, and we coordinate around your operations so downtime is minimal. Built for freeze-thaw country

Eastern Washington's winters are hard on concrete that isn't installed correctly. Freeze-thaw cycles expand moisture in a poorly prepared base, heave slabs, and crack flatwork that looked fine in October. We combat that with a properly graded and compacted sub-base, adequate drainage, correctly placed rebar and mesh, and concrete mixes and curing methods suited to our climate. That's not marketing — it's just how concrete is supposed to be done out here.

Common questions

Do you pour foundations for new homes and additions?
Yes. Foundations are a core part of what we do — for new construction, additions, garages, and outbuildings. We handle the excavation, formwork, rebar, and pour, and we size the foundation for the structure and the site conditions it needs to handle.
Can you do decorative or stamped concrete?
Yes. We pour decorative and stamped concrete for patios, walkways, and commercial approaches. If you have a pattern, color, or finish in mind, tell us in the quote process and we'll work through the options with you.
How do you handle our freeze-thaw winters?
Eastern Washington's freeze-thaw cycles are hard on concrete that isn't installed correctly. We use a properly compacted sub-base, correctly placed rebar, and concrete mixed and cured for our climate — so the finished slab doesn't heave, crack, or spall when the ground moves.
